Embedded programming

Embedded programming

Embedded programming works in the following manner: the control module is carried by the heating appliance (emitter). The other appliances are equipped with a mains borne signalling interface.

This simple and economical type of programming enables you to create heating zones, for example, one day zone (living room, lounge, kitchen) and one night zone (bedrooms, etc.), the bathroom can be a third zone. In each of these zones, a heat emitting appliance gives orders to the other appliances in the zone and all the appliances are set to the programming mode (up to 15 appliances).

Embedded programming

1. Stop

2. Frost-free mode
3. Program settings
4. Eco mode
5. Comfort mode

Overrides on the appliance cursors enable the heating mode to be changed appliance by appliance when necessary (e.g. for a poorly child, the bedroom emitter can be set to comfort mode instead of the usual programming mode).

The relevant units are: the interface, the Chronopass and the cable adapter.

1) Mains borne signalling interface

Attached to the back of the appliance, it enables the heat emitting appliance and the other slave emitters to communicate.

2) Chronopass

This device is installed in the interface and is used for the weekly programming, hour by hour with 3 programs available. 1 Chronopass is required per heating zone. Initially, 3 programs are set in the factory that can be changed according to requirements.

The Chronopass alone can be fitted on some bathroom heaters for a separate programming of the bathroom (strongly recommended: in spring and autumn, it is a good way to have a comfortable temperature without switching on the heating for the entire house; during the morning heating cycle, it prevents the load shedding from cancelling the turbo priority on the bathroom heater).

2.Displays the days assigned to program no.1
3.Programs no.2 and 3 button
4.Navigator
5.Modification button
6.Confirmation button

3) TDM cable adapter

Some electronic appliances are not equipped to accept the interface, but do have a pilot wire (Solius, Doris, F117, etc.), on which the cable adapter can be fitted to be used as an interface.
